Architectural Designer, cinephile, cyclist...

I am British-East African, raised in Kenya, and studied architecture in the United States. My career has spanned diverse project types for Architecture, Engineering & Interior Architecture practices in Chicago, New York, and London. While the majority of these projects have been in Europe & North America, I have a strong interest in working on projects in Africa & The Global South.

I love networking and have cultivated good working relationships with clients & consultants. My approach is characterised by compassion and deep investment in my work. I consider myself a listener, learner, and helper, always striving to understand and support those around me.

Currently, I serve as an Associate + Interiors Lead at Jeremy Blake Architects, where I build and maintain client & consultant relationships, provide design and strategic leadership on numerous projects, and continue to build on my successful project delivery record.

I was Lead Consultant on two super-luxe prime spas and high-end residential apartments located by the London Eye. (Please refer to the video below).

For the past decade, I've been a director on the board of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) United Kingdom chapter. I served as the chapter's Vice-President in 2019 and as President in 2020. During my presidency, I co-organised and moderated the AIA + RIBA 2020 Keynote lecture with Francis Kéré, established the Sustainability and Equity, Diversity & Inclusion chairs on the board, and brought on new chapter sponsors, increasing the chapter's sponsorship to the highest level in its history. I have also served on the Global Practice Committee of the AIA and as the United Kingdom chapter representative on the board of the AIA International Region.

Outside of architecture, I'm an avid traveller, cinephile, cyclist, and fitness enthusiast. I also design contemporary men's outfits, which are then crafted using African wax fabrics, blending my cultural heritage with modern fashion.
